I was born on17th day of February, 1967,to the family of late Chief Felix and Mrs Paulina Okoye of Umuenechi village, Nibo in Awka south local Government Area,Anambra State, Nigeria.I concluded my primary education in 1979 and gained admission into St Michael Secondary School, Nimo in 1980 for my secondary education. In 1987,I joined the institute of management and technology, Enugu where I studied Fine and Applied Arts.in 1990, I was admitted into then Anambra State University, now Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka,where I graduated with a B.Sc Honours degree in Psychology. I also got my M.Sc(2005)and PhD(2013)in Clinical Psychology from the same university. Presently, I am a Senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology.Interest Includes: Life satisfaction and subjective well being among Africans, Factors that influence the emergence of street children and child soldiers in Africa, Issues in Child abuse and neglect, Issues in domestic violence and intimate partner violence, Personality and self esteem factors on behavior.
