Martha Chidimma Egenti is a lecturer in Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State - Nigeria, where she obtained her B.A. (2005), M.A.(2009), and Ph.D. in Linguistics (2017). She has participated in leadership and research training workshops, one of which she served as a facilitator and a resource person. She has been equally trained by the Summer School on Documentary Linguistics and Variationist Sociolinguistics in Bamberg, Germany. In 2015, she was nominated as one of the young visiting scholars at Xiamen University, Funjian Province, China. Martha's refereed papers have appeared in local and international journals and books. Also, she has attended various remarkable international conferences in Germany, Morocco, Coted' Ioire etc. She is also a member of various Associations. Her research's interests cover areas such as Lexical Semantics, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics and Corpus Linguistics.
