Dr. Okorie O. Ndukwe holds a B. Agric (Hons.) degree in Agronomy from the prestigious Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. He was the best graduating student of the College of Crop and Soil Sciences. After his mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme, he enrolled for his Master's degree under which he was selected to conduct his M.Sc research work in International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, as a Research Student. He was awarded Master of Science (Crop Production and Physiology) in 2010. Dr. Ndukwe holds Ph.D degree in Tropical Fruits and Plantation Crops from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He became an Academic staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 2010. Dr. Ndukwe serves both as a Lecturer and a Crop Production Consultant. He teaches both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Crop Production/Physiology and Horticulture, with specialization in Tropical Fruits and Plantation Crops. Dr. Ndukwe works mainly in the following areas of specialization: production of horticultural crops, especially indigenous and underutilized crops; plantain and banana cultivation, passion fruit production.Interest Includes: Production of horticultural crops, especially indigenous and underutilized crops; plantain and banana cultivation, passion fruit production.
